Professional Services Unit (PSU) is the development arm of AIT. The division started its first turnkey project in 1997 and today these services are provided in a variety of computing environments utilizing leading technologies. Following an organizational streamlining exercise at corporate, a pool of 400 technical resources are grouped together to form PSO (Professional Services Organization). It has the capacity of providing internet security, consulting and services, risk analysis and assessment, network and system management, e-infrastructure consulting, information technology consultancy, turnkey projects and applications outsourcing.

Our Plans

Technology and Services’ long term plan is centered on the development and management of business-related applications. In this regard, it expects to harness two major competencies:

AIT evolves from a custom software development house. Whether it is database, business logic design or architecture for unique Client Server applications or Intranet applications, we have the capacity to aid you with the development.

Our development labs are equipped with multiple servers running in Sun Solaris, AS/400, Linux, Windows 2000/NT servers. We have Oracle, MS SQL Server, and DB2 database servers. For application development we have the proficiency in Visual Basic, Visual C++, Developer 2000 etc.

This includes database installation, performance tuning, consultancy etc. AIT will also undertake outsourcing projects in either the development or database maintenance on yearly basis.
